 The SAS group - a good corporate citizen 
  
 The SAS group has joined the UN Global Compact, the initiative for good corporate citizenship led by the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Kofi Annan.

In taking this step, the SAS group has committed itself, nationally and internationally, to practising and promoting sustainable corporate development and to firmly establishing basic social and ecological standards within our spheres of influence.

The goal of the UN initiative is to get globally active corporations, institutions and organizations to voluntarily agree on basic principles of human rights, labor rights and the environment.

These include abolishing forced labor and child labor, developing and encouraging the spread of environmentally friendly technologies as well as making a commitment to defend and protect international human rights.
